We have four brand new iPads for parents and children to use at the library! They’re loaded with tons of fun and educational apps for kids, and parents control whether or not children can have internet access.
Complete List of Apps and Descriptions
The iPads are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and will have a time limit of one hour (longer if no one is waiting). They must be checked out with an adult library card, and patrons are responsible for replacement cost if the device is lost, stolen or damaged while checked out.
Ask at the Children’s desk to check one out!
New in 2014…you can update your library account by fax or email instead of coming to the library!
When you get the reminder that it’s time to update your account (every 4 years for Brownsburg residents, 1 year for all other borrowers), you can send us a copy of your current proof of residence by fax (317.852.7734) or scan and email it (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You can also now apply for a library card without visiting the library…perfect for busy folks who are primarily interested in e-book borrowing. Start your application by phone or online, and we’ll mail your library card to your Brownsburg address in lieu of presenting proof of residence in person.
